HOLE IN THE TABLE 2003
A side table with a large in-built kaleidoscope. Look through a hole in the tabletop to view pretty patterns projected on the floor. Exhibited at the Tokyo Designers Week.

CUCINA TERRA 2001
A kitchen unit with attached kitchen garden. Also includes a table for growing, cooking and eating vegetables. The table incorporates a composting unit for kitchen waste. The red material is made from terracotta so most of this kitchen is molded from earth.

A VASE FOR HUMAN 2000
If the classic cross-section of a chaise longue is rotated on its axis, the result is a shape that is similar to a vase with no bottom. A reclusive and quiet space for meditation made out of clay. Rather than a chair, it is a vessel for a human being. After use, it can be recycled by burying in sand dunes.

PIANO 1997
A PC and a monitor are installed under the table top of a liquid crystal table. When the equipment is not in use, the table functions as an ordinary table.
